Recent results in carbohydrate bioorganic chemistry
Carbohydrates are ubiquitous natural compounds which show fascinating interest in biological chemistry. The wide scope of carbohydrate chemistry will be illustrated using several examples of our recent work, notably dealing with the design of innovative scaffolds for the design of new pseudo glycoconjugates, and with specific ligand-receptor interactions in pathogenic bacteria.
